Location: CA, USA; On route back from Desolation Wilderness to U.C. Davis, off US route 50 downhill from Kiber's Flats before mile marker 4617; in area with a sign that says 4632; On the side of road there is a pull-off area that contains a small stream.

Plant Attributes: Large tree, with 2 trunks. A second tree of the same species is growing very closely to this individual. Initial determination is based in part on acorns found on the ground under the tree.
