Source: Seed wild collected by The Morton Arboretum, due southwest of Apple River Canyon State Park, Jo Daviess County, Illinois, USA.

Location: Midwest M-69/61-15

Irregular shaped tree 10 feet tall and 10 feet wide in good condition. One trunk near ground level with smooth/ slightly textured grey-brown bark. This year's growth is smooth and brown. Previous growth is smooth and grey-brown. Some leaves have holes/insect damage.
