Irregular shaped tree 50 feet tall and 30 feet wide in good condtion. Trunk bark is platy and brown gray with lichen. This year's growth is grayish yellow. Previous year's growth is gray. Acorn yellow green (RHS # 152-A); acorn cap is grayed orange (RHS# 164- A)

Tree tagged as syn. Quercus falcata var. pagoda. Second collection for mature sun leaves. (First collection in flower, IL-MOR-MH2A, 4/9/2012)
