Source: From seeds wild collected by The Morton Arboretum on 15 Sep 1981 from Price Canyon near US-6, Carbon County, Utah, U.S.A.
Location: Southwest U.S.: S-19/53-08
Shrub-like shaped tree 4'6" tall and 2' wide in good condition. Trunks (9+); Trunk bark smooth and gray-brown; new growth smooth and green-tan; previous years growth smooth and brown-gray. Main trunk had been previously cut down. New shoots create appearance of shrub. Database notes that in 2009 tree was evaluated to be in poor condition, with survival not likely.
