Location: CA, USA; UC Davis Arboretum, Carolee Shields White Flower Garden and Gazebo, Planting bed #10, Grid#15-D5.; Living Collections Number: A64.1271, Qualifier 93673. (Lat: 38.529299, Long: -121.761996, Elevation: 50 ft.)

Plant Attributes: DBH: 11 cm; Shoots "shrubs" around base of tree. Understory tree is in shade of Q. lobata & virginiaca. Many suckers on trunk. Two trunks at DBH from 1-1/2 ft above ground. All leaves are in shade, including dark (old) leaves & branch of lighter green (new) leaves.
